Concert Lab draws together leading artistic professionals with over 20 years of experience in the art of thrilling live concert experiences.
For more than two decades, the staff of our concert production team have been conceiving, developing, budgeting, producing and managing globally renowned concerts of the highest-possible calibre.
We achieve what others can’t: a holistic concert production approach backed by unmatched experience in every possible role. We’ve been the producer, we’ve been the presenter. We’ve budgeted, toured, won and acquitted major concert funding, and beyond.

Meet our Founder and Creative Director.
For over 20 years, Andrew Pogson has delivered outstanding live concert experiences to both local and international audiences. A master of his craft and a legend to work with, he’s established a solid reputation for unmatched, effortless creative partnership in the global concert production sector.
With foundational experience as a professional musician within the Australian jazz scene, deep musicianship and respected artistic expertise lie at the heart of Andrew’s work. Andrew cut his teeth managing multi-million dollar budgets, concerts and productions for organisations including Orchestra Victoria, before climbing the ranks of Australia’s pre-eminent professional orchestra, Melbourne Symphony, to the role of Head of Presentations. Here, he spent over 10 years pitching, budgeting, managing, presenting and producing global-standard concert experiences, building the orchestra’s Specials/Commercial arm from scratch.

- Producing the ARIA Award-winning concert and subsequent recording Flight Facilities: Live with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (2016)
- Leading major projects and collaborations nominated for multiple Helpmann Awards (Melbourne Symphony Orchestra x Flight Facilies 2016; Symphonica with Armand van Helden 2018)
- Producer of 21 World Premieres and 27 Australian Premieres along with 4x movie soundtrack recordings (Paper Planes, 2014; Babe, 2015; Blueback, 2022; Space/Time, 2023) and 5x video game soundtrack recordings (Broken Age Act 1 & 2, 2013 and 2014; Grim Fandango Remastered, 2016; Psychonauts, 2021; Stray Gods, 2022)
